Through United Way's Lubert Matched Savings Program, Kashana received the support, guidance, and resources she needed to move her business forward. With business coaching, financial education, and matched savings, she was able to transform her hard work into a thriving business.
Today, Kashana is the proud owner of Juice Capitol, and she's already dreaming about what comes next.

The Lubert Matched Savings Program is one of the region's most important initiatives for helping individuals and families build financial security and achieve upward economic mobility.
Through the program, participants build assets through matched savings and receive coaching and education to help them reach their goals, whether that means purchasing a first home, continuing their education, preparing for emergencies, or starting and expanding a small business.
Since 2002, more than 2,300 participants have saved more than $3 million through the program. Last year alone, participants saved more than $233,500, and 72 families purchased their first home.
For Kashana, the program provided more than financial support—it provided an opportunity to turn determination into a lasting future.
