Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)

“You earned it, now keep it!”

United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) provides fast, free and confidential tax preparation services for low-to-moderate income individuals and families with a household income less than $55,000. All tax returns are filed by an IRS certified tax preparer.

Last year, VITA volunteers filed more than 55,000 tax returns across the region, returning $45.5 million to local communities.
