211 is a free, easy-to-remember hotline that connects individuals and families with important services and resources in our local communities. The hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and available in over 150 languages. 

Every day, our highly-trained 211 specialists stand ready to help and provide information and referrals to local health and human services. It can be used for everyday needs or following a crisis situation when access to accurate and accessible information is most essential.

211 in Southeastern Pennsylvania and in New Jersey is there to help. Just dial 2-1-1, text or visit 211 online to connect with a trained resource specialist.

SEPA 211

Serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, SEPA 211 helps individuals find and connect with critical resources in their communities.  

211 is proud to serve as the official PHLConnectED hotline to help connect Philadelphia students and their families with digital access opportunities.

PHLConnectED is a multi-year program to help ensure Philadelphia students have connection to the internet this coming school year and beyond. Philadelphia K-12 families who do not have any in-home internet access or who have internet access only through mobile phones, can call 211 and press option 1 to get immediate help.

When families call the hotline, they will receive general information about PHLConnectED including eligibility for the program, the internet service they may qualify for, and how they can get connected. 211 trained resource specialists stand ready to connect our neighbors with the information they need most.  

NJ 211

Serving New Jersey, NJ 211 provides New Jersey residents with an easy way to get connected to help with essential health and human services, including affordable housing, utility assistance, healthcare, senior services, food and other vital programs.

United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey has been a proud supporter of NJ 211 since 2005. NJ 211 is the place to start when people need help and don’t know where to turn. With a database of over 10,000 programs and services and live assistance available at any time of the day or night, help is here.
