imagine facing hunger. Every day.

That’s the reality for far too many people in our community. The fact is, hunger and food access issues aren’t limited to specific zip codes: food insecurity exists in every county in the U.S.

We salute all of the 350+ volunteers, SHARE Food Program that came out on Wednesday, June 26, at Valley Forge Casino Resort as we packed 8,000 boxes to fight hunger – enough food to provide 155,000 meals to hungry families throughout our region.

Because we are UNITED2FEED, we fight poverty, one food box at a time.

why united2feed?

In our region alone 717K community members – or one in five people – face hunger every day. They are the working parents who skip meals to pay the rent; the students who eat one meal a day during the summer because they don’t have access to reduced or free meal program; the seniors who, after buying their medication, don’t have enough money to buy food for the week.

On June 26, hundreds of corporate volunteers joined us at Valley Forge Casino for our largest food packing event of the year!

This annual event provided more than 1,300 partners with food that helps feed thousands of families throughout our region.
