Project NEXT: Young Professionals

United Way believes in building the next generation of caring leaders.

Through Project NEXT and the Young Leaders Program (YLP), we connect young professionals with meaningful opportunities to build their leadership skills, grow their network of community-minded professionals and serve their community in easy and effective ways throughout the year.

Lead. Network. Serve.

Why Project NEXT?

Project NEXT is the place where young professionals can make a difference.

  • Project NEXT thrives on being inclusive and helping others reach their potential
  • We look for ways to help students transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn” as part of Philadelphia’s #ReadByFourth campaign, and we find the resources to support this work
  • We bring awareness to the value of service and philanthropy. In 2017, young professionals raised more than $1 million through individual United Way campaigns
  • Project NEXT connects corporations and working professionals with community needs
  • Follow Project NEXT on FacebookTwitter and LinkedIn using #ProjectNEXT
