Join United Way, SHARE Food Program, and 500+ volunteers on Thursday, June 4 for our annual food-packing event where together, we will pack 7,000 food boxes – enough to provide 105,000 meals to hungry families.
In our region, 717,000 people – or one in five of our neighbors – face hunger every day. They are the working parents who skip meals to pay the rent; the students who eat one meal a day during the summer because they don’t have access to a reduced or free meal program; the seniors who don’t have enough money to buy both food and medicine.
Because we are United2Feed, we fight poverty one box at a time.
