CORPORATE VOLUNTEER COUNCIL
| The Greater Philadelphia Corporate Volunteer Council (GPCVC) is dedicated to increasing the collective impact of employee volunteer engagement by fostering greater collaboration within and across the business and non-profit communities. Facilitated by United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, members of the GPCVC look to increase their skills and find new ways to engage their employees in the hopes of better meeting the needs of their community. |  |
The GPCVC was formed in 2011 as a professional association of businesses and corporations throughout the Philadelphia region engaged in their communities through employee volunteer programs (EVP). The GPCVC seeks to offer members opportunities for:
- Connection: to for-profit colleagues to establish and/or strengthen volunteer engagement and corporate social responsibility
- Exploration: of the landscape of corporate volunteer opportunities throughout the region spanning all issues and activities from arts and culture to the environment to education, to financial stability and health
- Information: from the latest literature on volunteering, to what is happening on the ground in our region as well as nationally from corporations and other CVCs
- Voice: be a leader in driving a collective impact in the community, from issues to shared measurement, we grow stronger together
