United Way believes everyone has the right to age in good health, with dignity in their home and community. That’s why we work to ensure that older adults have access to services that allow them to do just that.
So we work to improve the quality of senior centers - the cornerstones of social, emotional and physical health for older adults in the community. We ensure that older adults have access to in-home physical health care, nutritious meals and home repairs. And we lead partnerships on the cutting edge of senior care to develop new models of delivering community-based services throughout our region and our state.
We know our region’s senior population is only growing - we want to create a system of care that’s ready to support them.
