At United Way, we believe there is no better investment than education. We see education as a community responsibility. It takes all of us – parents, teachers and caring adults – to help a child succeed in school and in life.
And we know it’s worth it. In fact, the returns on investing in our children are phenomenal.
We know that kids who have access to quality education from cradle to career will give back to their community ten-fold.
Through the Impact Fund, United Way invests in early learning for children ages 0 to 5 through our Success By 6® program, focus on early grade literacy to ensure kids can read at grade level by third grade, intervene in middle and high school through innovative mentoring programs to make sure kids graduate, and provide exposure to higher education and the workplace – as well as the support to get there – so that young adults continue on to college.
We know this work is worth it. In fact, it’s life-changing. And our kids are counting on it.
