Providing Tools for School with Stuff the Bus!

Twenty local businesses joined in the effort this year to Stuff the Bus! with school supplies to ensure local children have the tools they need for school success. The campaign launched on June 21 as part of United Way’s National Day of Action, and collected more than $10,000 in supplies for local children.

More than 75 years ago, United Way humbly started there as the “Community Chest of Absecon Island” a name made famous by the Atlantic City based board game “Monopoly”.
